Folk Night

A Festival Folk Special organised by the Bollington Folk Club – a singaround plus two headline acts (to be announced).

For those new to the Folk scene, a singaround is a communal, informal gathering where people can take turns singing traditional or contemporary folk songs, play instruments, perhaps recite poetry – whatever takes their fancy. So join us at the Festival Folk Special and follow whatever takes your fancy AND be entertained and inspired at the end of the evening by two bands/performers esteemed in the Folk scene.

If you want to perform in the singaround, just turn up and speak to one of the ‘crew’. Never performed in a club before? Don’t let that put you off, the Folk Club prides itself in welcoming newcomers.

Ticketing arrangements

On-line ticket sales will end one hour before the event starts. Credit card payments may be possible for some events, once doors open.

No physical tickets will be sent. Please take your confirmation email or printout to the door at the Bollington Arts Centre. Doors will open 30 minutes before the event begins. Tickets are non-refundable.

Please note that the bar will not take cash; credit cards only.
